Snapyo is built around one principle — we don't need your data to do our job. This page explains what we do and don't collect when you use our service.

1. Information we collect

You can use Snapyo without creating an account, without logging in, and without giving us any personal information. We don't ask for your name, email, phone number, or anything else that identifies you.

The only data we handle is the video URL you paste into the input field. It's used once to fetch the file and is never linked to you personally. We don't store the links you submit, and we don't keep a history of what you download.

If you contact us directly through our contact page, any information you share is used only to respond to your message.

2. Files and downloads

Snapyo doesn't host any videos or audio files. When you paste a link, the file is retrieved from the original platform (TikTok, Instagram or YouTube) and delivered straight to your device through your browser. Nothing is stored on our servers — the moment your download finishes, the process is over on our end.

We are not the source of the content and we don't own it. All videos remain the property of their respective creators and platforms.

3. Cookies and analytics

Snapyo uses a minimal amount of cookies to keep the site working — remembering your language preference or theme setting, for example.

We also use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are popular. These analytics don't track individuals — no personal profiles, no cross-site tracking, no selling data to third parties.

You can block cookies through your browser settings at any time without breaking the core functionality of the site.

4. Advertising

Snapyo is free to use and supported by advertising. Ads on our site may be served by third-party partners who use cookies to show more relevant content. These partners don't receive any personal information from us — they only see anonymous browsing signals such as approximate location and device type.

If you'd prefer not to see personalised ads, most browsers let you disable third-party cookies, and you can use an ad blocker. We won't stop you — the site still works fine without ads loading.

5. Third-party services

To make Snapyo work, we rely on a few external services (hosting providers and public APIs that help fetch video files). These services have their own privacy policies, and we choose partners who take user privacy seriously.

We don't share personal data with them because we don't collect any in the first place.

6. Children

Snapyo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone in that age group. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will remove it.

7. Your rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there's very little to request — but if you have any concerns about privacy on Snapyo, you're welcome to reach out at any time. We'll respond as quickly as we can.

Users in the European Union, United Kingdom, and California have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA. Even though we don't hold personal data about you, we respect those rights fully.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the service evolves. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll add a visible notice on the homepage.
