Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 August 2026

These Terms explain what you can and can't do when using Snapyo. Please take a minute to read them — by using the site, you agree to everything below.

1. Accepting these Terms

By accessing or using Snapyo, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If any part of these Terms doesn't work for you, please don't use the service.

We may update these Terms occasionally. The latest version always lives on this page with a fresh "Last updated" date at the top.

2. Who can use Snapyo

You must be at least 13 years old to use Snapyo. If you're between 13 and 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian.

If you're using Snapyo on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

Snapyo is available worldwide, but it's your responsibility to make sure that using this kind of service is legal in your country or region.

3. What Snapyo is (and isn't)

Snapyo is a free web tool that helps you save publicly available videos from TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts to your own device. We provide the interface — the actual video files are fetched directly from the source platforms.

Snapyo does not:

  • Host, store, or archive any videos on our servers
  • Require you to create an account or log in
  • Own or claim any rights to the content you download
  • Have any affiliation with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or their parent companies

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use Snapyo only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. Specifically, you agree not to:

  • Download content you don't have the right to save or redistribute
  • Use downloaded videos for commercial purposes without the creator's permission
  • Attempt to scrape, overload, spam, or reverse-engineer the service
  • Use automated bots, scripts, or tools to abuse the download endpoint
  • Bypass rate limits or technical restrictions
  • Use Snapyo to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right

If we detect abuse or violations, we reserve the right to block access from your IP address or region without notice.

5. Intellectual property and copyright

All videos accessed through Snapyo remain the property of their original creators and the platforms that host them. Downloading a video through Snapyo does not transfer any ownership or license to you.

You are solely responsible for:

  • Making sure you have the legal right to download and use the content
  • Respecting the copyright, moral rights, and terms of the original creator
  • Only using downloaded content within the scope of fair use, personal use, or with proper permission

Snapyo has no way of verifying whether any given video is legal to download in your specific case. That responsibility is yours.

The Snapyo name, logo, design and code are owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them for your own projects without written permission.

6. DMCA and takedown requests

Snapyo respects intellectual property rights. If you believe your content is being accessed through our service in a way that violates your rights, please contact us at support@snapyo.app with the following:

  • The specific URL or content in question
  • Proof that you're the rights holder or authorised representative
  • A statement of good faith
  • Your contact information

We review all valid requests and act on them promptly.

7. Service availability

Snapyo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to keep the service running, but we can't guarantee that it will always work perfectly or be available 24/7.

The platforms we support (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) frequently change their systems, and some videos — private, deleted, region-locked, or protected — simply can't be fetched. That's outside our control.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Snapyo at any time, with or without notice.

8. Third-party services

Snapyo relies on external tools and public APIs to fetch videos. These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or behaviour.

Any links to third-party sites within Snapyo are provided for convenience only. We don't endorse them and we're not responsible for their content.

9. No warranty

Snapyo comes with no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee that the service will meet your needs, be error-free, or produce specific results.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Snapyo and its team are not liable for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — resulting from your use of the service.

10. Advertising

Snapyo is free thanks to advertising. Ads shown on the site are served by third-party partners and may occasionally be irrelevant or unwanted. We do our best to keep the experience clean, but we can't personally review every ad.

You're welcome to use an ad blocker — the site works normally either way.

11. Termination

Since Snapyo doesn't require accounts, there's nothing to "terminate" on our side. But we reserve the right to block access from specific IP addresses, regions, or user agents if we detect abuse, illegal use, or attempts to harm the service.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Snapyo is operated. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith communication first, and if that fails, through the appropriate courts.

13. Contact

Questions about these Terms, or anything else? Reach out through our Contact page and we'll get back to you within a couple of business days.
